DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION
STM turbomixer that are manufactured by S.A.I.C.I. are particularly designed to treat betonite mud used in drilling and excavating operations. The STM Turbomixer consists of a sheet steel cylindrical tank, set up on a strong frame. Muds are mixed through a high speed vortex produced by a special pump which, after sucking from the bottom of the tank, sends them back tangentially into the same tank, shaped in order to get highest efficiency. Through a timely operating of the throttle valves of the system, the pump provides for carrying the muds to the storing container or to the using area. Through this process it’s possible to obtain homogeneous colloidal and high quality mixture in a short time.
